The grower is always welcome here at FNC. We want you to see the process of hulling & shelling so that you can have a higher degree of confidence that your product is being handled properly. Accurate, intelligible information is perhaps the most neglected aspect and source of aggravation to a grower. We offer daily reports of every stage of the process, from receiving to crackout and shipping. A grower always knows exactly where his product is along the continuum of production.
The primary objective of FNC is to minimize the physical/mechanical damage a nut receives during the hulling, shelling, and sometimes processing procedures. We have no control of the damage done to almonds in the field, but we can prevent an increase in defects from happening once they become our responsibility. We want the lowest percentage in our industry of chipped, scratched and broken almonds leaving our plant.
